Collaborative event for young jobseekers in Collie

The Colliecrete team have been working with several other Collie Futures Fund recipients, South Regional TAFE, and Collie Senior High School to coordinate a “Science Alliance” event for local Year 10-12 and TAFE students on August 23rd at Collie TAFE.
The event will showcase some of the new projects and businesses currently establishing themselves in Collie, discuss the entry-level science-based jobs that are expected to be created in the coming 12 months, and suggest pathways and qualifications local young jobseekers might consider in order to be successful in securing one of the upcoming roles.
Some of the businesses involved, which includes Cannaponics, Hemponics, International Graphite and Holista Colltech, will be even happy to accept expressions of interest for future roles on the day, so students, get your resumes polished up!
Details are still being finalised so watch this space, or talk to your CSHS teachers and TAFE lecturers if you want to score an invitation.
We are so excited for Colliecrete Project to be such a key promotor of local jobs for our local young people.
